Your bespoke puppy training is more than a course; it’s an investment in your dog’s future. By building strong foundations now, you’re giving your puppy the best start in life and creating a relationship filled with love, adventure, and joy.
Bringing a new puppy home is exciting — but it can also feel overwhelming. The advice from friends, the noise on social media, and the challenges of sleepless nights or toilet training can leave you unsure where to start. That’s where my bespoke 121 puppy training comes in. Together, we’ll build calm, confidence, and connection from the very beginning, giving your pup the best possible start in life and setting you both up for a lifetime of adventures.
My 4 month old beagle, Mable and I recently completed Rizia’s 5 week puppy 1-2-1 course. I found it incredibly enjoyable, interesting and rewarding. My puppy learned so much and she’s well on her way to mastering (and mastered) many key skills. Exactly what I was hoping for
Rizia is a special person and I feel hugely fortunate to have found her
Without doubt I would recommend her to anyone looking to train and understand more about their dog. Lindsay Donovan
Not all puppy training is the same. Here’s what makes Pentlands different:
Calm, safe environment – Our secure indoor and outdoor facilities in the Pentland Hills mean training continues whatever the Scottish weather. With plenty of space for off-lead confidence building, your puppy can learn in peace.
Tailored to you – Every puppy and every owner is different. I adapt my programme to your puppy’s personality, your lifestyle, and your goals.
Experience that matters – With decades of hands-on puppy raising and professional qualifications (ABTC, APDT, PACT), I bring both knowledge and lived experience.
Support that lasts – From your first video call to in-person sessions, you’ll have guidance, resources, and reassurance every step of the way. You’ll never feel alone in the process.
Welfare-first, positive training – Always kind, science-led, and effective, building trust while teaching your pup skills for life.
